“I had recently undergone surgery and was home in recovery.  Upon my arrival from one of my first doctor’s appointments following the procedure, I walked into a hot home!  After some investigation, I learned that my outside A/C compressor was not functioning.  Less than two months prior it failed and a competitor simply used a booster capacitor as a “bandage” to help start the unit.  This time the unit was dead for sure and I started the search for a vendor to replace my system. 

All quotes I received were VERY high as I was being pushed the super high efficiency units, when anything in current technology would be much better than the old aging unit I had.  I also feel that part of the additional cost was the other competitor’s large overhead that I was paying for.  With considerable other life expenses, my wife and I were faced with a financial dilemma.  Fortunately, I came across Florida Home Cooling and discussed my situation with Dave Conken and his office manager Jamie.  Knowing my need and the fact that the intense summer heat made hospital recovery difficult, Dave rushed to my home to check out the situation.  First, Dave was very knowledgeable of his products and industry and was also skilled at helping me select an entire Rheem replacement system which still had great efficiency while costing me half the quotes from other large competitors.  I also feel that one of their greatest strengths is that Florida Home Cooling is a smaller “family-owned” company which gave them flexibility, responsiveness, compassion for my situation.

Dave and his crew arrived the following day and the entire installation went quickly which also included removal of the existing system.  The work was neat in appearance and very professionally installed!  They completely cleaned up after themselves.  Every staff member was warm and courteous and attentive to my needs.
